Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need experiece?
No. We have many girls join our team who have no prior lacrosse experience. We are happy to teach you.
Do I need equipment?
We have sticks and goggles you can borrow until you decide if lacrosse is right for you. If you decide to join the team, you will need a stick of your own, wire cage goggles, cleats and a mouth guard. We can answer any questions you have regarding equipment.
What if I play another sport or have other extra curricular activities?
We have players in band, cheer, and many other sports. We understand today's teens are busy and have many interests. We will work with you and your schedule. However, realize that being at practice regularly is critical to your success and the success of the team.
What are the fees?
The 2027 Spring Season is:
- $650 dues
- $35 USA Lacrosse Membership (required)
- $35 reversible pennie (required)
- $140 team uniform
- $100 team jacket (optional)
- $250 volunteer buyout (optional)
Scholarships are available.
Are there tryouts?
No. We are a non-UIL, club sport. We do not have tryouts and all girls who want to play can join the team.
What are the fees used for?
Player fees are used to rent fields, pay referres, pay medical, tournament fees, and other expenses incurred by the organization to run the program.
We are 503c non-profit.
